A groundbreaking innovation has emerged from Chongqing University in collaboration with Chongqing Pentium Transmission Technology Co., Ltd. The two entities have jointly developed a new type of ship water-lubricated rubber alloy bearing, marking a significant breakthrough that fills a critical gap in the domestic market. Efforts are currently underway to accelerate the industrialization of this technology by working closely with local manufacturers of ship components. This innovative bearing serves as a crucial element within a ship's traditional propulsion system. It is commonly used in positions such as the propeller and stern tube, directly influencing the vessel’s performance and navigation. Conventional bearings are typically made from metal materials like iron or copper, which require lubricating oil to reduce friction between the bearing and the power system. This oil also helps protect the metal surfaces. However, over time, the components can corrode, leading to potential disruptions in the operation of the ship's power system. In recent years, the research team has worked tirelessly to replace traditional metal alloys with rubber. Through advanced chemical techniques, they have applied a "nano-coating" to the rubber bearings, achieving mechanical strength comparable to that of metal alloys. The technical specifications of this new bearing have even met military-grade standards used by the U.S. Navy. This revolutionary marine rear-drive rubber alloy bearing eliminates the need for mineral oil as a lubricant, allowing natural water to serve as an effective lubrication medium, thereby significantly reducing oil costs. "The most important feature of this technology is that the nano-coated rubber bearing can achieve natural lubrication using water," said the project leader. "By adopting this method, manufacturing costs can be reduced by 70% compared to traditional metal materials, and the cost of lubricants can be completely eliminated." Representatives from the Municipal Science and Technology Commission emphasized that this new water-lubricated rubber alloy bearing technology represents a first-of-its-kind development in China, setting a new benchmark in the maritime industry. With its environmental benefits, cost-effectiveness, and high-performance characteristics, this innovation is expected to revolutionize the way ships operate and maintain their propulsion systems. As the technology moves toward full-scale production, it could pave the way for more sustainable and efficient marine solutions in the future.

Mold Temperature Controller

Plastic molding processing equipment is developed on the basis of rubber machinery and metal die casting machine. Since the emergence of polymer injection molding process and simple molding equipment in the 1870s, as an industry, until the 1930s to obtain rapid development, plastic molding processing equipment gradually commercialized, injection molding and extrusion molding has become an industrial processing method. Blow molding is second only to injection molding and extrusion of the third largest plastic molding method, is also the fastest development of a plastic molding method.
