It is understood that this recalled model includes the 2013-2014 forester car, the production date is from October 24, 2012 to May 10, 2014, a total of 49,956 vehicles; 2012-2014 Subaru XV car, production date is 2011 From August 23 to December 27, 2013, a total of 24,980 vehicles.

Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may have contact due to the installation of the wiring harness around the steering column and the metal plate on the inside of the knee guard. The vibration during driving may cause the wire sheath to be damaged by friction, causing the wire to be exposed and eventually causing a short circuit. In extreme cases, the wiper, lighting, and horn functions may fail. If the fuse fails, the power supply to the control unit is interrupted, and the engine may be turned off during driving, posing a safety hazard.
