When its doors first opened in 2008, the Autodesk Gallery stood as San Francisco's premier space dedicated to showcasing design and innovation. It highlighted the remarkable influence of Autodesk technology and became a symbol of progress in the tech world. Over a decade later, the pace of innovation has only quickened, driven by relentless digital transformation across industries. Today, our customers use Autodesk solutions to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing the globe, and we continue to strive toward a future where design and creation serve everyone. I’m thrilled to unveil the newly redesigned Autodesk Gallery at One Market in San Francisco. After extensive renovations completed in December 2021, the gallery now features an entirely fresh lineup of exhibits, celebrating the innovators empowered by Autodesk technology. While you might have seen glimpses of the gallery in 2021 when Autodesk unveiled its new brand—bold, optimistic, and action-oriented—the physical space truly embodies this vision. Our gallery serves as a place to reflect on the positive change we can create together and envision what’s possible today and tomorrow. Renovating such a comprehensive space presented unique challenges, especially given the unforeseen circumstances of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. From the project's launch in November 2020 to its completion in December 2021, the health and safety of our team were paramount. We adapted swiftly to changing health protocols, practiced physical distancing on-site, and utilized Autodesk tools like BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to collaborate effectively. This renovation reminded us of the challenges faced by our customers globally and underscored how our technology helps teams navigate uncertainty safely. The gallery also underwent a thoughtful redesign with health-conscious considerations in mind. Features like touch-free buttons, sensor-activated interactive content, and enhanced ventilation ensure a safer experience for future visitors. Though the gallery will officially open for tours and events in 2022, I invite you to take a virtual tour below and explore the inspiring new space and its engaging offerings. --- Stepping off the elevator, guests are greeted by the grandeur of the renovated gallery. At one end of the lobby, a large-scale, looping video immerses visitors in the breadth of Autodesk's capabilities and customer achievements. On the opposite side, a sleek reception desk guides guests toward a striking physical representation of our updated logo. ![Reimagined Lobby of the Autodesk Gallery](http://bsg-i.nbxc.com/blog/fb7546218a2e67ae6e5dd5e402ab68b1.jpg) The gallery now features 13 unique customer stories, highlighting groundbreaking solutions, pioneering breakthroughs, and visionary ideas for a better future. For instance: - **Build Change** employs Autodesk technology to help communities rebuild after natural disasters like earthquakes and typhoons. - **LAIKA**, the award-winning animation studio, uses Autodesk tools to bring its animated films to life. - **NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory** collaborated with Autodesk Research to optimize the Lander’s design using generative technology. - **Hyundai** leverages Autodesk solutions to create prototypes capable of traversing extreme terrains. - **Perkins & Will** utilized Autodesk technology to develop the innovative structural design of its River Beech Tower. The gallery also introduces three new Autodesk-focused experiences: - **Spectrum** highlights the human side of innovation through interactive portraits of our customers. - **Prism**, located at the exhibit’s center, invites visitors to engage in multi-choice questions projected onto a large tabletop surface. - **Future Communities**, developed in collaboration with the Smithsonian, is an interactive digital experience encouraging guests to design sustainable communities with AI and generative design. In addition, the expanded gallery now includes a stunning **Executive Briefing Center** for VIP experiences and a versatile **event space** adaptable for various occasions. From beginning to end, the newly redesigned Autodesk Gallery offers an inspiring and transformative experience.
