The display remains blank after turning on. Answer: Possible causes are: no voltage; no power cord connected; fuse blown; instrument damaged.

Measurement time is too long. A: The closed mode that may be selected is not appropriate. Try replacing a suitable shutdown mode.

The instrument cannot be heated after starting the test. Answer: The overheating of the drying unit may cause the thermal overload protection function to start. For safe operation, the instrument is equipped with double overheating protection: the drying unit has a thermal overload protection (bimetal sensor) that shuts off the heating unit. In this case, contact your supplier.

Poor measurement repeatability. A: Possible reasons are: 1: The sample is not uniform. For example, they have different ingredients. The more uneven the sample, the more samples are needed to obtain better reproducible results. 2: The selected drying time is too short. Extend the drying time or choose the appropriate off mode "weight loss per unit time". 3: The sample is not completely dry (eg due to surface crusts). Try mixing quartz sand for drying. 4: The selected temperature is too high or the sample is oxidized. Reduce the drying temperature. 5: The sample boils and continuously splashes to change the temperature. Please clean the protective glass. 6: When the protection glass is eroded, the heating amount cannot be fully utilized. Please clean the protection glass. 7: The temperature sensor is contaminated or damaged. Please clean the temperature sensor. 8: The console is not stable. Please use a stable console. 9: The external environment is unstable (vibration, etc.).
