Sand Pump
Product Introduction:
MG series gravel pumps are designed for continuously handing the most difficult higher abrasive slurries which contain too big solids to be pumped by a common pump. The pumps are suitable for delivering slurries in mining, explosive sludge in metal melting, dredging and so on. The advantages of the pump are easy installation and operation, good performance of NPSH and abrasion resistance. San Francisco, CA — April 23, 2019 — PlanGrid, now part of Autodesk and a leading provider of construction productivity tools, has launched a groundbreaking new feature: PlanGrid BIM. This powerful integration with Autodesk Revit allows users to access Building Information Modeling (BIM) data directly on their mobile devices, whether in 2D or 3D format. It marks the first major BIM integration since Autodesk acquired PlanGrid, offering construction teams and facility managers real-time access to critical design data, improving accuracy, reducing rework, and enabling faster, more informed decisions.
“PlanGrid’s integration of Revit empowers users to leverage BIM data beyond pre-construction, providing immediate access to rich information that supports better decision-making,†said Jim Lynch, Vice President and General Manager of Autodesk Construction Solutions. “This is just the beginning of our collaboration, as we work to build an integrated platform that connects the office, the trailer, and the field seamlessly.â€
PlanGrid BIM bridges the gap between design and execution by bringing BIM data directly into the hands of field workers. Traditionally, BIM models are converted into PDFs, which strip away valuable data and limit visibility. With PlanGrid BIM, teams can now view and interact with BIM data in both 2D and 3D environments right from their mobile devices, ensuring that no detail is lost during the construction process.
The new BIM functionality includes three key components:
- **BIM-enabled Sheets**: Users can tap on objects within 2D drawings to access detailed BIM properties such as dimensions, materials, and manufacturer details.
- **3D BIM Viewer**: A simple tap transitions users to a 3D view of any object, even when offline. The viewer offers zoom, snap, and measurement tools for enhanced clarity.
- **Revit Integration**: Sheets are published directly from Revit into PlanGrid, ensuring accurate data transfer, including sheet titles and numbers, while maintaining all PlanGrid features like automatic callout detection and hyperlinking.
Field teams can now make more informed decisions, reduce errors, improve safety, and enhance overall project quality. “With PlanGrid BIM, our teams can quickly find the information they need without relying on multiple systems or waiting for updates,†said Kendall Pouland, Director of Technology and Innovation at Tellepsen. “It's a game-changer for our workflow.â€
Tracy Young, Head of PlanGrid at Autodesk, added, “Our mobile-first approach has always been central to our mission. Now, by integrating BIM into this framework, we’re helping teams build with confidence and precision. We're not just improving efficiency—we're transforming how construction is done.â€
PlanGrid BIM is included with all PlanGrid subscriptions and is available today on iOS and web, with Android and Windows support coming soon. Future updates will include integrations with other design tools like Autodesk Navisworks, two-way synchronization with BIM models, and the ability to generate tasks, RFIs, and punchlists directly from model data.
