The Broadview Fire Department, located within MABAS Division 20, serves an area covering nearly two square miles from its single station. This station has quite a history, once housing numerous American LaFrance units. Even today, two classic American LaFrance vehicles remain part of their fleet—a 1982 Century Series engine and a unique Grumman AerialCat tower ladder mounted on a low-profile American LaFrance chassis.
Dennis McGuire, Jr., who generously shared these images, captured not only the iconic fire trucks but also additional equipment including two ambulances, another engine, the distinctive tower ladder, a pickup truck, and even an X-military AM General Humvee. His detailed shots provide a comprehensive look into the department's current setup and operational assets.
Attached below is one of the photos he submitted, showcasing the impressive lineup of vehicles at the Broadview Fire Department. The image highlights both the modern and vintage aspects of their fleet, reflecting the department’s commitment to maintaining reliable resources for their community.
