Dan McInerney captured these rig shots from an incident that took place at 4404 W. Roosevelt. The location appears to be a recycling facility, where Engine 38 was initially dispatched for an ambulance assist. Upon arrival, they found a burn victim and had to call in a battalion chief (Bn13) for additional support. The Office of Fire Investigation (OFI) later visited the patient at the hospital to conduct their assessment.

These images provide a glimpse into the emergency response efforts that unfolded at the scene. The quick actions of Engine 38 and the subsequent involvement of Battalion 13 highlight the coordinated approach taken by the Chicago Fire Department during such incidents. It's always interesting to see how different units work together to handle emergencies, especially when dealing with more complex situations like burns, which require both medical and fire department support. Dan’s photos give us a closer look at the vehicles involved and the equipment used in the field.
