Recently, Bridgestone (China) Investment Co., Ltd. destroyed 4 imported tires, and the inspection and supervision personnel of the Yixing Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Jiangsu Province conducted on-site supervision.
According to reports, Bridgestone has a tire testing field in Zhangye Town, Yixing City. In April 2017, the company imported four Bridgestone tires from the United States for scientific testing.
When the tires entered the country, the company applied to the Jiangsu Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau for the “Certificate of Exemption from Compulsory Product Certificationâ€.
After the tires arrived at the Yixing test site, Jiangsu Yixing Inspection and Quarantine Bureau carried out 3C exemption follow-up supervision.
After nearly 6 months, the test site completed all test projects.
According to the relevant laws and regulations, after the company uses 3C exempt products according to the application purpose, the products can be scrapped and destroyed, and the scrapped products should be disposed of centrally.
On the afternoon of October 19th, the company used a knife cutting method to destroy four tires.
