Difficulties in charging and mileage anxiety are the challenges facing the current electric vehicle industry. In the media day event held on the 7th Geneva International Auto Show on the 7th, Chinese exhibitors launched a number of new energy vehicles in the world, and proposed a Chinese plan for the industry to explore how to break through the relevant bottlenecks.

The Geneva Motor Show is the first European auto show to be held each year and is one of the top five auto shows in the world. It is considered an important “wind vane” in the automotive field. The auto show was officially opened on the 9th. More than 180 manufacturers will carry about 900 vehicles, including 83 new models in the world.

Since the launch of the aeronautical-powered extended-range electric vehicle system at the Geneva Motor Show last year, the Chinese car research and development company Tekrus Tengfeng has brought the production-ready hybrid supercar "Genren" this year. This super-run is equipped with an aeronautical-powered extended-range electric vehicle system. The flagship model has a battery capacity of 25 kWh. There are 6 motors in front of and behind the car. 80 liters of diesel fuel can provide 960 kW of maximum power and 1170 km of maximum mileage.

The founder and CEO of Tekrus Tengfeng, Xin Xinzhong, told reporters that the innovation of the aero-powered extended-range electric vehicle system is to combine the aero engine and the electric vehicle to provide an extended range for the car, and it is highly efficient and environmentally friendly. For half of the "Euro 6" standard, the secondary pollution problem of the battery will be greatly reduced.

The Zhengdao Group from Hong Kong, China, jointly developed the electric concept car, the Honda H600, in conjunction with the famous Italian car design company Pininfarina. The car's powertrain is a combination of "micro-turbine generator range extender + graphene high-efficiency battery" that can power the vehicle or charge the battery at any time.

According to reports, this new-type fuel-electric hybrid mode of extended-range electric vehicles can exceed 1,000 kilometers, and the acceleration time from zero to 100 kilometers is 2.9 seconds, which can effectively solve the bottleneck of the development of new energy vehicles.

An extended-range electric vehicle refers to the addition of a power generation equipment to a pure electric vehicle. However, the engine does not directly drive the wheels, but only charges the battery when the battery is low, thereby increasing the mileage. This power generation equipment is called "time extender".

“China is currently the world's largest auto market, and its technical strength is also growing,” said Gerd Hildebrand, industry expert at China's Qoros Automotive Design and former head of brand design at Volkswagen and Mitsubishi. When the Chinese car debuted on the same day, "Chinese manufacturers have promoted the development of electric vehicles, and the proposed technical solutions have development prospects."
