This update comes from Chi-Town Fire Photos: Last night, Cicero was hit with multiple calls regarding a structure fire at 35th Street and 55th Court. Cicero Engine 3, located just two blocks away, arrived to find heavy fire coming from the rear of a 2.5-story wood-frame house that also included a garage and a coach house. Upon arrival, Chief F12 immediately secured the scene. Engine 3 quickly deployed three lines, while Engine 1 set up a 2.5-inch line in the alley and managed to knock down the main bulk of the fire. Stickney and Lyons engines also responded with 2.5-inch lines, using them to protect adjacent buildings. In total, six lines were working alongside Truck 1’s aerial master stream.
