According to the Russian accounting standards, the Group’s 2011 net profit of 971 million roubles (approximately US$32.37 million) has turned profitably into profitability, according to the financial report released by Kamaz Automobile Manufacturing Group, Russia’s largest truck manufacturer, on April 16.
In 2010, the loss of the Kamaz Group reached 2.204 billion roubles (approximately US$73.47 million).
The financial report shows that the total revenue of the Kamaz Group last year was 118.859 billion rubles (about 3.953 billion U.S. dollars), an increase of nearly 50% from the previous year. Last year, the group achieved sales of 4.5284 million trucks.
Kamaz is the largest truck manufacturer in Russia. It ranks 11th in the world in terms of truck production and ranks eighth in the world in diesel engine production.
