Brazil builds additional hydropower stations and thermal power stations

According to reports, the Brazilian government launched a special government stimulus plan called Reidi. The Ministry of Mines and Energy has built two small hydropower stations and a thermal power station in the planned infrastructure construction project.

The 2 MW Mestre and the 3.5 MW St. Sicilia small hydropower station are located in Mato Grosso. The 13 MW Eldorado Thermal Power Plant is located in the southwestern state of Mato Grosso.

The Reidi plan includes a five-year tax exemption for the goods trading and service industry, which is part of the government’s plan to stimulate economic growth.

Recently, the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy has added two small hydropower stations and one solar power station.
