This is from Steve Redick: I responded to a call in an area I don't often get to. It was a full-still response for a fire in a double-wide mobile home located within a large trailer park in the town of Justice, now under the jurisdiction of the Roberts Park Fire Protection District. The conditions were extremely cold, and there were severe water supply issues, which made this a long and challenging operation. They had to use booster tank water from two engines before finally locating a working hydrant several hundred feet away. Eventually, they set up the aerial ladder, as the collapsed roof prevented ground-level exterior water streams from reaching the fire. It was definitely a tough job on a miserable day. This fire was especially challenging because of the location and the structure. The team worked hard under difficult conditions, and it shows in the photos.
