The Towable Electromagnetic Sweeper is designed to remove ferrous debris from various surfaces, including airport runways, roads, ports, and large storage areas. It uses a powerful electromagnetic block that generates a strong magnetic field, effectively lifting both small and large metal objects. These sweepers are attached to the rear of a vehicle, such as a service truck or SUV, using a sturdy tow hitch. The unit features two wheels for easy maneuverability and is equipped with controls inside the vehicle cab, allowing the operator to turn the magnet on and off. This enables quick release of collected debris, ensuring efficient operation.

Designed for outdoor use, the sweeper operates at speeds between 5 to 6 mph. It comes in various widths, from 1200mm to 2440mm, and can be customized to fit specific requirements. For a project in Indonesia, Bunting delivered three units with a 2440mm magnetic width, each weighing around 1500 kg.

Each unit is powered by a 220VAC generator and a gasoline-powered Honda engine housed within a protective frame. The system includes an auto-reverse start/stop button, making it easier to manage captured metal debris. A rotating flash beacon on the control panel indicates the magnet's status, enhancing visibility and safety during operation.
