The most powerful low-temperature wind turbine developed by China has been successfully produced in Deyang, Sichuan Province. The 1.5 MW low temperature motor of the unit was provided by China North Locomotive Group Yongji Motor Factory and has been put into use. Its product technology has reached the international advanced level in the same industry and has three patents of independent intellectual property rights.

As early as June this year at the 3rd Asian Wind Energy Conference and International Wind Energy Equipment Exhibition held in Beijing, the 1.5 MW motor of China North Locomotive Group Yongji Motor Factory was highly concerned by domestic and foreign counterparts. In July, the first 1.5 MW air-cooled doubly-fed wind turbine was supplied to Sichuan Deyang Dongfang Steam Turbine. More than 10 of these motors have been manufactured for this purpose, and the motor will be supplied in the future.

Yongji Motor Factory has entered the wind power market since 2000. It has won the favor of the Chinese market with its early start, high technical level and stable and reliable quality. It has developed 600kw, 750kw, 800kw, 1000kw cage and 1.5MW wind power products. The domestic market has an annual share of more than 80%. It is reported that in 2006, the annual output of wind power products of Yongji Motor Factory will exceed 500 sets. In 2007, it will strive to reach 1000 sets. The motor will move from cage type to double feed and then to direct drive. From single motor type to system integration, wind power products will Become a new pillar product of the factory, comprehensively enhance the core competitiveness of the factory, and achieve the goal of being full, refined and strong.
