A Lamella Separator is a high-efficient water treatment solution designed for removing particulates from liquids. Equipped with many inclined plates or tubes, the settling tank provides a large effective settling area for sliding down sludge, sands and other matters. Under gravity, particulates and sands are then collected in the hopper and released. By using the lamella clarifier, the separation efficiency is improved by 50%-60%.
Application of Lamella Separator
1. Electroplating
The Lamella Separator removes at least 90% of metal ions in the electroplating wastewater, including chromium, copper, iron, zinc, nickel and other heavy metal ions. The treated water complies with effluent standard and can be directly released, economical and ecofriendly.
2. Mining
With the application of the Lamella Separator, the turbidity of mining wastewater is lowered from 500-1500 mg/L to 5 mg/L.
3. Dyeing and Printing
For dyeing and printing water treatment, the lamella separator cuts 70%-90% of coloring matters and 50%-70% of COD.
4. Tanning and Food Processing
During the tanning process and food manufacture, a great amount of organic matters are produced. After using the wastewater treatment equipment, the COD removal rate is 50-80%, solid impurities removal rate is over 90% and a large proportion of organic substances are removed.
5. Chemical Engineering
The Lamella Separator helps to get rid of 60%-70% of COD, 60%-90% of coloring matters, enabling the water meeting the effluent standard.
