Josh Boyajian was covering a still and box alarm this afternoon in the city when he arrived at 1851 Lawndale. He found Engine 38 and Truck 48 responding to the initial alarm, followed shortly by Engine 109 and Truck 32. Upon arrival, Truck 38 took sector 1 while Engine 38 moved down the block to begin their operations. Squad 1 had an American LaFrance spare piece (X-Engine 23) on scene.

It was a typical still and box alarm, but the response time and coordination were impressive. The crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control, and the area was secured within minutes. As always, the dedication of the firefighters is evident, and it's moments like these that remind us of the importance of their work.
