Why the Frame Is Universal and Works for All Heights

The frame – why it is universal and suits people regardless of their height?

Let’s take a closer look at one of the most important parts of an electric bike — the frame. While traditional bicycle frames were designed for human power, modern electric bikes require a completely different approach due to the added weight and power of the motor and battery system.

Back in the early days of transportation, inventors like Karl Benz faced similar challenges when adapting horse-drawn carriages to run on gasoline. Today, engineers are doing something similar by trying to fit high-powered electric motors and large batteries into classic bicycle frames. But this approach often leads to structural failures — just like those early cars that struggled with reliability.

As you can see, the design doesn’t look anything like today’s modern vehicles. That’s because early designs were just adaptations of what was already available. The same goes for electric bikes — many engineers tried to use standard bicycle frames, but they soon realized that these weren’t built to handle the stresses of an electric motor and heavy battery pack.

Electric motors produce much more torque than human legs, which puts extra strain on the wheels, spokes, and frame. Aluminum frames, in particular, aren’t built to withstand such forces over time. This is why many e-bikes end up breaking down — not because of poor quality, but because the original design wasn’t suited for the job.

That’s why we developed our own unique frame design. It’s not just about strength — it's also about safety and performance. High-capacity lithium-ion batteries need proper protection, and that’s not possible with a regular bike frame. They’re too small, too fragile, and don’t provide enough space for the necessary cooling and insulation.

Here’s what a typical battery looks like:

The larger the battery, the better the range — but that also means more weight and more heat. If the battery isn’t properly protected, it can become a serious safety hazard. Our frame is designed to house the battery in a secure, insulated compartment that keeps it safe from impacts and temperature fluctuations.

Many e-bikes still use small, under-the-seat batteries, which might work for short commutes, but not for long-range riding. These designs often resemble the first automobiles — basic, functional, but far from ideal. Here’s what a typical low-end e-bike looks like:

As you can see, the battery is tiny and placed in a very limited space. That’s fine if you only need a few kilometers of range, but not if you're planning a longer ride. That’s where our frame comes in — it's built to hold a large, powerful battery while keeping the center of gravity low for better balance and stability.

Our frame is like a computer case — it protects the electronics, provides ventilation, and ensures everything works smoothly. It’s also designed to be adaptable. By changing wheel sizes or adjusting the seat height, the frame can fit riders between 166 cm and 180 cm tall. So whether you're tall or short, there's an option for you.

So next time you’re looking for an e-bike, remember: the frame is more than just a structure — it’s the foundation of the entire ride. And that’s why we designed ours to be both strong and versatile.
