Bunting's Custom Electromagnetic Sweepers for an Indonesian Airport

The Towable Electromagnetic Sweeper is designed to be attached to the back of a vehicle, making it easy to maneuver across large areas. It features a strong magnetic block that lifts and holds ferrous materials, ensuring they are safely collected and removed. The unit also includes controls inside the vehicle for easy operation, allowing the operator to turn the magnet on and off as needed.

These sweepers are built for durability and efficiency, operating at speeds between 5 and 6 mph. They come in various widths, from 1200mm to 2440mm, and can be customized based on specific site requirements. For an airport in Indonesia, Bunting delivered three models with a 2440mm magnetic width, each weighing around 1500 kg. Powered by a 220VAC generator and a Honda gasoline engine, these units are both powerful and reliable.

Additional features include an auto-reverse start/stop button, which helps release captured metal, and a rotating flash beacon that indicates the machine’s operational status. These details make the sweeper user-friendly and safe for daily use in high-traffic environments.
